Price: $39.00 (OEM)Part#: 50000293-003 Honeywell's new post-filters have been proved to add 8-10% more efficiency at the smallest micron channel (0.3-1 microns), while keeping added pressure drop at a minimum. This is important because if there is too much pressure drop within the HVAC system, the equipment must work harder to keep the house comfortable. The new post-filters are made from a new exclusive Honeywell technology. Post-filters have an antimicrobial coating that protects against bacteria and fungal growth on the filter. Although they look very porous, they are very efficient at removing particles from the air when combined with an F300 or F50. A significant electrostatic charge is created throughout the filter that attracts airborne particles like a magnet. NOTE: POST-FILTERS CANNOT BE WASHED AND RE-USED. The electrostatic charge in the post-filter will dissipate if washed. Honeywell recommends that post-filters be replaced approximately every six months. The post-filters will fit into any Honeywell F50 or F300 Electronic Air Cleaner. They will elevate the performance of your air cleaner's filtration efficiency in capturing bacaterial, smoke, particles, mold spores and other fungi. Insert the media post-filters on the downstream side of the cabinet in the guide provided. (The metal mesh pre-filters are on the upstream side of the cabinet in the guide provided.) The post-filters are sold in a pack of two. NOTE: THESE POST-FILTERS WILL ONLY FIT IN MODELS F300 AND F50F. THEY WILL NOT FIT IN F50E, F50A, OR F52E.
