(OEM)Part#: 7200-100

"Installation Instructions

WARNING: These high intensity ultraviolet lights can cause severe harm to your eyes and skin. DO NOT look directly into these lights. DO NOT plug this unit in until it is firmly mounted to your ductwork!

Items included: (1) template to accurately locate holes, (1) hole saw, (1) 5/16" drill bit, (1) small drill bit and (6) screws. Tools needed: Electric drill and screwdriver.

Read the warning above.

Step One: MEASURE FIRST! Using the diagram below, measure the ductwork to help determine the best installation location for your BreatheCLEAN Air Purification System. You need 16" of depth inside the cold air return or the hot air plenum to accommodate the long UV bulbs. Once you have picked your location, remove the backing from the self-adhesive template and attach to the desired location. If you have central air conditioning, make sure you do not drill into the "A-coil" as shown on the diagram.

Step Two: With the supplied hole saw attached to your power drill, drill the two large holes. Best speed for drilling with a hole-saw is slow to medium. Use the centering marks on the template to locate proper centering of holes. You should wear protective goggles to protect your eyes when drilling.

Step Three: Use the larger drill bit to drill the two 5/16" holes on the top of the template. Then use the smaller drill bit to drill the six remaining screw holes using the centering marks on the template.

Step Four: Remove the unit from the box and carefully install the bulbs. Use a paper towel to handle the bulbs to avoid touching the glass. The oils on your hands can reduce the life of the bulbs. Snap bulbs into brackets, and then slide bulbs down firmly into sockets. Be sure the bulbs are all the way down into the sockets.

Step Five: Holding the unit with two hands carefully slide bulbs into the large holes and carefully slide the two fiber optic tubes in to the two 5/16" holes you drilled. Use screws to mount unit to ductwork.

Step Six: Affix the enclosed WARNING LABELS to the ductwork under or near the unit. MAKE SURE THESE WARNING LABELS ARE HIGHLY VISIBLE TO ANYONE WORKING ON OR NEAR THE FURNACE SYSTEM! Then, only after firmly securing the BreatheCLEAN unit to the ductwork with all six screws, plug the unit into AC 110 volt outlet. If there is no outlet in reach of the cord, we recommend having a licensed electrician install an outlet near your furnace. We do not recommend using extension cords. Do not drape electrical cord over or around exhaust tubing. "
